Utilizing 100% recycled polystyrene, the THE PERFECT BLOCK is a proven construction material made from cement, RECYCLED EPS, formed into 42 pound homogenous recyclable block.
High Insulation Values:
Will exceed thermal value of R52. Buildings constructed with THE PERFECT BLOCK are up to 76% more efficient compared to traditional wood or steel framed structures. THE PERFECT BLOCK are unaffected by continuous frost and cold cycles and homes stay warm in the Winter and cool in the Summer.
Energy Efficient:
THE PERFECT BLOCK are impervious to continuous frost and cold cycles. With thermal values of 20 to 49 h °F sq.ft/BTU, buildings constructed with THE PERFECT BLOCK use up to 44% less energy to heat and up to 50% less energy to cool, compared to traditional wood framed structures.
Endless Siding Options:
THE PERFECT BLOCK accept any siding surface and material. THE PERFECT BLOCK wall directly accepts brick, stucco, plaster and other similiar surfaces. In addition, with its internal grid of reinforced concrete, 12" OC, you can tap any wall material to the actual structure of the building - allowing for lap and other wood based siding options.
Damp Environment Advantage:
THE PERFECT BLOCK does not absorb or retain moisture, instead -- sheds it. They will not mold, mildew, rot, or degrade, even in the wettest of environments. Further, the THE PERFECT BLOCK help facilitate optimal building vapor release - allowing the structure to breathe.
Hot & Dry Environment Advantage:
Tailor suited to the design style and environment of the Southwest, THE PERFECT BLOCK readily and directly accept any Stucco surface. More importantly, they will not shrink due to extreme dry heat, and are impervious to termites and other common insect problems. Finally, its high insulative R values provide for a perfect, cool, and energy efficient match for the desert heat.
IMPERVIOUS TO FIRE:
Tested to 4 hours at 2000° F (1093° C).
Unlike Wood, the THE PERFECT BLOCK system does not burn or develop smoke, and unlike steel, it does not soften or bend in extreme heat.
